onDemandImprinting's web site is now completed and operational. OnDemandImprinting is a custom T shirt imprinting shop that specializes in creating custom designed clothing in smaller runs then the typical mass production shops that are currently operating.
This website was enjoyable to create in the clients believed in doing something very different then the typical shirt and apparel screenprinters out there. They want to appeal to a nationwide audience, they want to provide quick turnaround when most make you wait a week, and they wanted to give a fresh perspective into the industry not often found. We're excited to have had a chance to work with them and can't wait to see what kind of a splash they end up creating in the industry.
interactiveTHINK used several techniques when creating their web presence:
- Use of reflective icons and key spaced text
- Lots of Search Engine Optimization techniques were used to try to get them the best positioning possible. Unfortunatly the fruits of our SOE labor will not be known for some time as Google and other web directories do not often list newer domains for at least 6-12 months.
- Data functions were in the form of an on-line quote engine to provide instant quotes to users of the website
interactiveTHINK also created an entire data driven back end system that:
- Allows users to create a user account
- Allows users to upload a new design and start the proof/estimate process
- Allows employees of onDemand to view new uploads, work on the art and collaborate back and forth with the user.
- Once the art is approved a system streamlines the processing of the order in such a way that the operator simply points and clicks to keep the order processing through the system
- An E-Commerce system for initial order/re-ordering new clothing through the customer portal directly linked into Paypal and a credit card merchant account
