Making Health Fun
HealthyReportCard.com is a parental 'portal' which makes managing a family fun and easy.

HRC is so much more then just some basic chore tracking system, it integrates tracking in key areas of a child's health. Nutrition, Exercise, Chores and behaviorial health can all be set up within the system and tracked on a daily or weekly basis.
Here is where the fun part comes in
As children enter their information, points or allowance is accumulated weekly depending on the percentage of completion they earned through the week. Kids can then take these points/allowance money and spend it in an on-line storefront the parent creates for them. This creates a fun way to feel rewarded for having healthy behaviors.

Putting finishing touches on the site, wrapping up with some instructional videos including a cute 'blooper reel' created from our 11 year old narrator.

Started with an initial design and added quite a bit along the way. Systems have a tendency to go places where you are not expecting when doing the build. Going to do a complete tear-down of the application and re-write it incorporating some new functionality, namely the ability to do financial tracking for children.
